Dear SF People & Pay Power Users,

The Systems Division of the Controller’s Office manages the City and County of San Francisco’s (CCSF) Enterprise Applications, including SF Financials, SF Procurement, SF People & Pay, SF Learning, SF Budget, SF Reports & Analytics, SF Open Book, SF City Partner Site, and the SF Employee Portal. These systems and the 37,000 CCSF staff and 16,000 city suppliers that use them enable the city to pay over 37,000 employees each pay period, process over 500,000 supplier payments annually, and track the City’s $12 billion annual budget.

In spring 2020, the Controller’s Office will implement PeopleSoft’s latest Fluid User Interface (UI) for SF People & Pay and SF Learning. Like the regular system updates you receive on your desktops and smartphones, this update will provide a more intuitive user experience, make it easier to navigate to the pages you need, fix known bugs/issues, and improve the cybersecurity around the City’s HR and learning data.

In addition to testing these system updates before we launch in spring 2020, we want to make sure our SF People & Pay power users are prepared for the changes coming to the look and feel of the SF People & Pay modules they use in their everyday work. SF People & Pay power users are HR, Payroll, and Finance staff who use the SF People & Pay link to perform daily tasks.

This brief 2020 SF People & Pay PeopleSoft Update Project User Awareness Survey will help the Controller’s Office understand how prepared you feel for the changes coming in spring. Your input will directly impact how we engage your teams in the coming months.

The survey should take less than two minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your valuable feedback!

Please complete the survey by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 20. Please contact SFEmployeePortalSupport@sfgov.org with any questions regarding this survey.

Sincerely,

SF Employee Portal Support
