Closed: Classes that are closed appear in the learning catalog for learners in self-service, but learners cannot self-enroll. Whenever a class is closed, only the learning administrators can enroll learners into that class. This also allows the user to Launch web courses if they are already/previously enrolled

Concluded: Concluded classes do not appear in the learning catalog for learners to view or enroll in through self-service. Concluded classes are available to administrators and they can enroll learners into this class. An administrator must mark this status manually.

The SF Learning team has tested and verified that:

Concluded classes are:

  1. Not available in the search so employees cannot enroll
  2. Employees who were already enrolled cannot launch the courses because the launch option in My Learning has been removed
  3. The Class Roster remained intact with whatever enrollment status the employee had when the course was concluded

Inactive: Classes that are inactive do not appear in the learning catalog for learners to view or enroll in through self-service. Whenever a class becomes inactive, all enrollments (except for those that are completed or incomplete) are automatically dropped, and an email notification is sent to all the learners (whose enrollments are dropped).
