Even if you have not been formally called upon as a Disaster Service Worker (DSW) or for Emergency Operations Center (EOC) deployment, you may be instructed to include COVID-19 Incident and Project codes when updating your timesheets for any COVID-19 response work performed.

What information should I enter in the Incident and Project Code fields?

The codes provided in the video are examples pertaining only to the Controller’s Office.  Your department emergency coordinator, Finance division or Payroll unit typically provides the information to use in the Incident Code, Incident Activity, Project and Project Activity fields. If you have not received this information, please contact your department Finance division or Payroll unit to obtain the appropriate codes.

How can I personalize my timesheet so I can can enter Incident and Project Code fields?

Your Incident and Project Code fields are hidden if you do not see them on your timesheet. Follow the steps below to personalize your timesheet to unhide these fields and make them available.


Step 1: Access the grid icon on the upper-left corner of your timesheet and select Personalize




Step 2: From the Grid Customization, select the field(s) you wish to freeze or hide.  You can also use the up and down arrows to arrange the order you'd like your fields to show.
