This article lists the tiles available on the Payroll Administration homepage, which link users to Navigation Collections (Nav Collections) that provide access to transactional pages, WorkCenters, queries and reports in SF People & Pay.


 

 


Below is a list of tiles accessible through the Payroll Administration homepage.   Note that access to these tiles are based on security roles driven by the functional tasks performed in the system.  You will not see tiles for Nav Collections that you do not have access to.

 

Tiles Specific to the Homepage:

  • Absence Administrator – links users to transactional pages that allow users to manage extended leaves and other pages related to the extended leave process, e.g., Review Absence Balances, Assign Entitlements and Takes, Job Data.  Also links users to extended leave-related reports, e.g., Extended Absence Reports, CCSF Extended Leave Bal Report, Combined Leave Balance Report.

 

  • Payroll Administrator - links users to transactional pages related to payroll maintenance and process, e.g., Create Additional Pay, Review Paycheck, Job Data, and Job Code Table

 

  • Payroll WorkCenter – intended for the Payroll Division of the Controller’s Office

 

  • Time Administrator – links users to transactional pages allowing users to review, report and approve time and absence, and other transactional pages related to time administration, e.g., Maintain Time Reporter Data, Incentive Pay, and pages to manage interfaces.  Also links users to time administration-related reports, e.g., CCSF Time Entry Report, CCSF Payable Time Report, Timekeepers and Approvers.

 

  • Time and Labor WorkCenter – links users to a WorkCenter where they can access action-focused transactional pages, reports and process, and queries related to time and labor.  Examples of transactional pages include Exceptions, Request Batch Approval Process, Manage Generated Positive Input, Absence Adjustments.   Reports and processes include CCSF Time Entry Report, Employee Leave Balance Report, Run Timebound Interface, Load Task Profiles.  The Time and Labor WorkCenter also provides links to external sites, such as the Payroll Division Homepage, and a variety of Time and Labor queries.

 


Tiles Shared Across the Workforce Administration and Payroll Administration Homepages:

  • Query Viewer – links users to the Query Viewer to access My Favorite Queries and other available queries

 

  • Report Manager – links users to the Report Manager, where users can retrieve distributed reports, and reports run by the user 

 

  • Reports & Analytics – links users to SF Reports & Analytics

 

  • User Support - links users to the SF Employee Portal Support site enabling users to review solution articles and submit support tickets.

 

Please see the attached Payroll Administration Navigation Collections spreadsheet for more information regarding the transactional pages, queries and reports available for each tile.  Note that the spreadsheet provides a comprehensive list of Nav Collections.   The transactional pages, WorkCenters, queries and reports that exist in your Nav Collections are based on your system security.  A printable version of this solution article is also attached for your convenience.
