The Department Budget Reconciliation Dashboard is available in SF Reports & Analytics for users with access to SF People & Pay Position Management data. The new dashboard provides full-time equivalent (FTE) information (Budgeted, Position and Available FTEs), and detailed position and incumbent information. It features the same information available in SF People & Pay, but the new dashboard in SF Reports & Analytics allows you to filter and sort data with ease, export the information to Excel, create PDF files, and even transfer data to PowerPoint slides! Just make sure your pop-up blockers are off to view your exported data. See the Pop-Up Blocker Issues solution article for step-by-step instructions.

What information is available in each tab of the Department Budget Reconciliation Dashboard?

The Department Budget Reconciliation Dashboard contains three tabs. All information is refreshed from SF People & Pay on a daily basis, and does not include attrition savings. Fields on the left pane allow you to filter data. See below for more information regarding each tab. Note that only the first screenshot shows the filter pane, and columns have been rearranged in the second and third screenshots to capture critical columns.

1. The Department Budget Reconciliation Overview tab displays high-level data including counts for Funded FTE, Authorized FTE, Regular Position FTE (FTEs without Temporary Salary Budget) and Available Regular FTE. This tab also provides a summary for Regular and Temporary Budget information.

2. The Department Budget Lines tab provides Funded FTE, Authorized FTE, Total Position FTE, Position Count and Available FTE information for each unique and valid Sequence Key defined by Job Code and ChartFields. Only the most current effective row of the Sequence will be displayed.

Hover and click above a column header to rearrange the order the columns appear on your page. Right click on a column header to sort the data within the columns.

3. The Department Budget with Positions tab offers the most granular data, providing detailed information such as position number, current incumbent, and funding lines tied to each position. Only one employee is displayed for multiple headcount positions.

This tab also allows you to rearrange columns and sort data within the columns.
