What is the Catalog in SF Learning (ELM)? In general, the Catalog is the collection of courses in the systems. In our case, the Catalog is driven by Learning Environment, Learner Group, Delivery Method, and Category.
Everyone’s Learning Environment is predetermined by their department
Learner Groups are setup by the Learning Administrators everyone can be in several. For example, CON ALL CCSF is a basic Learner Group used regularly.
Delivery Methods such as web-based training, classroom, etc. initially categorize your course in system
Categories allow for further organization.
The standard for Categories will start with 3-digit department code (DPH-xxxxxxx)
In case the of DPH we will add a single letter to indicate which department or team (such as DPHZ-xxxxx for Zuckerberg or DPHC-xxxxxx for Compliance)
