How to End a Course and Class in SF Learning


Step 1. Log into SF Learning and click on the Learning Administrator tile



Step 2. Click on the Maintain Courses link and select the course you which to end


Step 3. On the maintain course page, first click on the “Correct History” link at the bottom of the page.  After clicking on the “Correct History” link, update the status of the course to “Inactive” and click on the save button.


Step 4. After clicking on the “Correct History” link, update the status of the course to “Inactive” and click on the save button.


Step 5. If there are any active enrollments, you will receive warning messages that there are active enrollments in your class.  Once you have ended a class, the active enrollments that were auto-enrolled will be dropped.  Click the OK button.



Step 6. Next click on the Save button



Step 7. Now that we have ended the course, let’s navigate to the Class by clicking on the “Delivery Method” tab.


Once on the delivery method tab, click on the Delivery Method:



Step 8. Once in the Delivery Method section, click on the “Classes” tab:



Step 9. Click on the class that will need to be closed:


Step 10. Arriving on the “Class Details” tab on the “Maintain Class” page, you can see that there are several options to choose from on Status.  Please select the “Concluded” option:



Step 11. As a last bit of detail to end a class, please enter the end date for the class.
