A Person of Interest (POI) is an individual who is not a current CCSF employee but who needs access to the SF Employee Portal (including SF Budget, SF People & Pay, SF Learning, SF Financials & SF Procurement, and/or SF Reports & Analytics). The sponsoring department's HR System Access Approvers or designated IT staff team members must submit the Create or Inactivate Person of Interest (POI) Records service request.  Please note: only HR System Access Approvers or designated IT staff team members are able to access and submit this request.

After we enter a non-employee POI in SF People and Pay, the sponsoring department's IT administrator will receive their user ID. The department IT administrator then needs to provide the User ID to the POI and submit any additional requests for access (including SF Budget, SF People & Pay, SF Learning, SF Financials & SF Procurement, and/or SF Reports & Analytics). This two-step process allows us to most efficiently serve department needs and ensure accuracy and system security. The department IT administrator can also forward our How Persons of Interest (POIs) can log into the SF Employee Portal for the first time and access online training solution article for the POI's reference.
