We ha

We have improved self-service timesheets to allow you to report sick time, vacation hours and all other absences the same way you enter your regular worked hours – directly on the timesheet grid with a single submission!

The Absence Events section below your timesheet grid will appear on timesheets dated before May 23 to display historical absence information.

Accessing the new features of your enhanced timesheets is as easy as 1-2-3!

Before you get started, please complete the following steps to access all the features of your enhanced timesheet.

  1. Clear your browser cache
  2. Personalize your timesheet
  3. Set your time reporting preferences

1. Clear your browser cache

Just like our PeopleSoft Update on April 27, you’ll need to clear your browser cache to ensure pages load successfully and you’re able to access new system features. Please see the How to clear browser cache article for step-by-step instructions.

2. Personalize your timesheet to remove unused columns

Current timesheet personalization will not carry over to the new timesheets. Please see the Self-Service Time Reporting: How to Personalize Your Timesheet article for instructions on how to hide, freeze and re-order your timesheet fields so your timesheet reflects your desired display.

3. Set your time reporting preferences

The list of time reporting codes (TRCs) will expand to include absences. You’ll find the five most common TRCs at the top of the list, such as Regular Hours Worked, Sick Leave Pay and Vacation Leave Pay. The remainder will list other options in TRC-Description format, which can make it challenging for you to find like absences. The Self-Service Time Reporting: How to Set Your Time Reporting Preferences article provides instructions on how to switch your Time Reporting Preferences to the Description-TRC format to easily find similar absence types. The most commonly used TRCs will remain at the top of the list, but the remainder will be in alphabetical order by description. For example, all FMLA-related absences will be listed together.
