Generally users are able to complete the above functions successfully without error messages when the user's CWAD password and SF Employee Portal passwords are synced.  If the system does not recognize your password, it means that your CWAD password and the password you used to log into the SF Employee Portal are not in sync.  To resolve this issue, please complete the following steps.

  1. Contact your department Information Technology (IT) support and request that they reset your CWAD password in the Active Directory (AD)
  2. Your department IT support will reset your password and provide you with a temporary password
  3. Click the orange DT IAM Support Password Reset tile in the SF Employee Gateway to reset your password by using the temporary password provided by your department IT support.  For detailed instructions, see How to Update your Security Information as a Current User article
  4. After receiving confirmation that you have successfully reset your password, clear your browser cache and close your browser window. See How to Clear Browser Cache in Firefox and Chrome for instructions
  5. Log into the SF Employee Portal again to access the system features above

If you have completed the steps and are still unable to access the system features listed above, please reach out to the SF Employee Portal Support team.
