Listed below are possible error messages you may encounter when submitting your Tuition Expense Authorization form. In the event that you've exceeded your maximum reimbursement limits, restrictions, or other provisions, you may receive a message if the Citywide limit has been reached, or if you do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Scenario One:

You've received a message that all tuition funds are spoken for, and that your expense authorization request is not approved. You may resubmit at a later time in the event additional funds become available:

Scenario Two:
If you receive this message, then no further authorizations can be submitted, as your individual fund balance has been exhausted.

Scenario Three:

If you receive this message, you can submit no further authorizations until you work the minimum amount of years. Please check your memoranda of understanding (MOU) for details: https://sfdhr.org/memoranda-understanding

Scenario Four:

If you receive this message, no further authorizations can be submitted until you work the minimum amount of hours. Please check your memoranda of understanding (MOU) for details: https://sfdhr.org/memoranda-understanding

Scenario Five:

If you have received an error message about the date, please verify that it is not in the past. All Tuition Reimbursement Expenses must be submitted for a future date at least six weeks in advance to provide enough time for review and approval (even if you already completed your class).
